Dear people of other fandoms. It would be really cool if you voted for Community rather than your own show. I’m not saying you have to, but please think about this: All of those other shows are safe. They are beloved and generally have gotten renewed right away. Community’s ratings struggle every season. We need to get recognized desperately. We need a win. Imagine if every season of your favorite show, you were terrified that it might not last out until the next. Imagine that your show was the sort that could be in the running for awards, but constantly passed up for being “too weird”. So instead of of watching your show win or lose the award, all you can do is see maybe one or two of the actors from your show handing awards to other people. 

Community is the odd man out on TV and it needs a win. For our show to be complete, it needs to run 4 seasons (the amount of time our characters are in school) There is a good chance that we won’t even get that. The actors and writers on this show are passionate and love their show. They reach out to us so much and spoil us rotten. If not for the fans, it would be great to get some promotion for them.

Yeah it’s just TV guide, but a lot of people read and subscribe to TV guide. There will undoubtably be a lot of people looking at the article that this show could win and think “it might be worth checking out”.
